Job Role & Purpose
  • We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the company’s financial health by analysing day-to-day financial activities and offering strategic guidance on achieving financial goals. This role also involves planning and monitoring business opportunities such as expansions, mergers, or acquisitions.
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
  • Analyse financial data and propose actionable insights to drive business decisions.
  • Provide guidance on investment opportunities and develop financial strategies.
  • Analyse costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
  • Oversee the organization’s financial health through meticulous planning and management.
  • Evaluate costs, pricing, revenue contributions, sales performance, and variances from financial plans.
  • Generate financial forecasts and identify trends to support strategic objectives.
  • Review financial processes to uncover and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Lead the finance team, set clear goals, and create effective processes to achieve them.
  • Oversee the preparation of framework and management of budgets in alignment with organisational priorities.
  • Collaborate with auditors to ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal controls.
  • Partner with other departments to align financial strategies with organisational goals.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of company-wide initiatives.
Job Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager with managing a team of minimum 5 team members.
  • Possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge in the financial sector with previous possible roles such as financial analyst.
  • Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns.
  • Proficient user of finance software.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, leadership and presentation skills.
  • Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
  • A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
  • Good knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
  • Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or equivalent is an advantage.

  • Strong understanding and knowledge of the travel industry and destinations, including popular attractions, accommodations, transportation options, and travel trends.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with customers effectively, actively listen to their needs, and provide appropriate recommendations.
  • Competent in online booking systems and software, as well as general computer skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple customer inquiries and travel bookings simultaneously.
  • Passionate about learning and possessing a growth mindset, demonstrating positivity and proactiveness.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and target-driven environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
