Based on findings from the China Outbound MICE Tourism Market Report, the “top MICE destinations” are expected to play a crucial role in driving the Outbound, Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) tourism market, which is anticipated to exceed $28 billion by 2025.
Edward Chen, the General Manager of PR and Representation at the marketing solutions provider at Dragon Trail International mentioned that outbound MICE in China is experiencing significant growth, reaching levels that could be favourably compared to the country’s outbound leisure market.
According to Chen, “The potential for outbound MICE is evident, as several large incentive groups have rescheduled their departures for 2024. Therefore, my prediction for 2024 is that you will witness a significant growth in the outbound Chinese MICE market.”
